About Me
I really enjoy taking pictures.
I started in photography when I found my dad’s Pentax K1000 in the laundry room closet. This was before Google, of course, and neither he nor I had any idea how to work the thing. I was lucky enough to have a teacher, Mr. Hughto, who took pictures for (and edited) the school newspaper. He taught me the important things, like the composition, focus, and how my first few rolls of film would be garbage. On about my 10th roll, I got something worth publishing, and I’ll never forget that feeling.
I take pictures because I really enjoy it, and I strive to make that apparent in my work.
